Competitive Skating Stream
The Competitive Test Program is for
STARSkaters in singles, pairs and dance
who wish to compete in qualifying
competitive events within Skate Canada.
Skaters enrolled in Competitive Skate learn
a variety of life skills as they progress up
the competitive ladder. These include goal
setting, focus, ability to deal with success/
failure, time management and principles of
fair play and sportsmanship. Opportunities exist for advanced training and for competition at the provincial, national and international level.
